2nd Weekend of August

CAMPUS LEADS, formerly known as Bible Boot Camp, takes place at Camp Au Sable and is designed for student leaders, aspiring leaders, and campus interns. At LEADS, you’ll receive targeted training to grow as a leader on your university campus. The program focuses on Leadership, Education, Apologetics, and Discipleship Seminars to equip you for effective ministry and service.

Fall Retreat

2nd Weekend of September

Fall Retreat is a free weekend event at Camp Au Sable for public university students. The weekend combines spiritual growth, fun activities, and meaningful connections. You’ll worship, enjoy fellowship, and bond with your ACF group and fellow students from your university. Highlights include the PCM Olympiad, where you can compete in challenges, earn points for your university, and vie for the grand prize!

Collegiate Sabbath

October and April

Collegiate Sabbath takes place twice a year—once in the fall semester (October) and once in the spring semester (April)—hosted by different universities across Michigan. Students from public universities gather on campus for worship, fellowship, and outreach. Lunch is provided, and the day concludes with opportunities to serve and connect with fellow students.

Public Hi-C Retreat

First Weekend of November

Hi-C Retreat – A Christian retreat for high school and college students at Camp Au Sable. Enjoy a weekend of fun activities, inspiring speakers, and time to dive into God’s Word, capped off with the annual Hi-C 500 go-kart race on Saturday night!

GYC

End of December/Beginning of January

Every year, CAMPUS partners with local university churches and sponsors to bring students to GYC, a youth and young adult conference held across the U.S. With an attendance of over 7,000, GYC began in 2002 as a movement of students hungry for God’s Word, deeper faith, and active service. The conference inspires young people to model Nehemiah’s leadership, Daniel’s integrity, Mary’s humility, Paul’s evangelistic passion, and Christ’s love, while mobilizing youth ministries to share the Three Angels’ Messages

Winter Retreat

2nd Week of February

Winter Retreat is designed for public university students and young professionals seeking spiritual renewal and meaningful connections. Join us at Camp Au Sable for a weekend of worship, fellowship, and deep engagement with Scripture. Through small group discussions, Q&A sessions, and speaker panels, we explore big topics and tackle the hard questions in a symposium-style format.

ACF Recognition & MTP Graduation

Last Weekend of April

End-of-Year Celebration takes place the last weekend of April as we close the school year by honoring our campus interns, ACF student leaders, and graduating students. This special evening celebrates their dedication, leadership, and impact. Following the ceremony, the CAMPUS center opens for refreshments, fellowship, and a lively time with family and friends—making it a joyful and memorable night for all!
