Reaching campuses since 1998.

This is what we believe.
Our Mission
A Bible-based revival movement in which every student is a missionary
Our Vision
To prepare secular university campuses for the imminent return of Christ
Our Methodology
Biblical simplicity; “Your success is in your simplicity. As soon as you depart from it, your power is gone.” Testimonies to the Church, Vol. 2, p. 608
Our Philosophy
Academic excellence combined with spiritual excellence

Our History
The first location of CAMPUS was in Ann Arbor, MI near the University of Michigan.
Michigan Conference became the first North American Division department focused solely on ministry on secular university and college campuses.
CAMPUS was established as the main center for Michigan conference’s Public Campus Ministries Department.
CAMPUS headquarters was moved to East Lansing with the purchase of a house just a few blocks from the campus of Michigan State University.
Why CAMPUS?
Today's College students feel more Disconnected Than Ever.
The Problem
Research shows there’s a growing crisis of isolation on college campuses.
Loneliness
44% of college students feel lonely often, says a 2023 ACHA survey.
Social Media & Isolation
61% of 18-25-year-olds feel more isolated by social media, per a 2024 Pew study.
Disconnection
35% of isolated students face anxiety or depression, per the 2023 NCHA report.
Unsupported
More than 75% of Seventh-day Adventist are attending non-Adventist colleges and universities. They need someone to minister to them.
Lost in the crowd
Some colleges and universities have an enrollment of more than 40,000 students. Although some are not as large, they are all basically small (and not so small) cities that change every four years.
Mission Field
Many international students make up the brightest minds in the world, including places that make part of the 10/40 Window – some of the world’s most difficult and unreached areas. University campuses are places where the mission field comes to us.
Reach the student, reach the world.
The CAMPUS Impact
Public Campus Ministries
The Public Campus Ministry Department builds and oversees the work of public campus ministry in several ways:
Support System
Helping students address and navigate sabbath observance and other issues. Building and defending their faith through bible studies and other resources.
Pastoral Care/Mentorship
Providing pastoral care and mentorship as students experience academic and social college life.
Partnership
Partnering with pastors on or near university towns by providing training and assisting them in their public campus ministry.
